If I could give Drake House Construction higher than a (5) star rating I absolutely would! Everything they have done in my home is absolute perfection! Kyle and Nancy are the BEST! They just completed a Master Bath renovation which is stunning (pictures attached)! They created a Wine Cellar area on our terrace level, and a Terrace Level Kitchen and a Guest Bath Terrace Level renovation (Pictures attached). They are true professionals! Everyone that works with/for Drake House Construction are honest, hard working and true craftsman. Every project was done spectacularly! They lived up to every one of my expectations and beyond. We had a great experience throughout the entire process of remodeling our bathroom with the Drake House. Their attention to detail and build quality were top-notch! From the initial visit into our home to look at the space to the job completion Drake House was on top of every detail. They listened to what we wanted and needed in the space. When we went in for the initial design meeting, they had a beautiful design that had everything we’d hoped for. We made our cabinet, hardware, and lighting choices and left with a proposed start date. The construction process went better than I could have imagined. The crew was at our home everyday at 8:00 and finished up at 4:00. They were hardworking and clearly gifted at their craft, they were respectful of our home, polite, helpful in so many ways. Whenever I had a question, our contractor or the office manager was prompt in answering. The app they use to send messages, to make selections, changes, and payments made the communication so easy. Our kitchen is absolutely stunning…more than we could have imagined…It’s just perfect down to the smallest details. Drake House thought of everything!! I highly recommend them for your next remodel.

Kyle and Nancy understood our vision for our home and executed, while really sticking to our budget! We truly never felt like any question we had was too small, and any concern we had throughout the process was addressed. We are thrilled with the remodel of our master bathroom which was completed by Drake House. The remodel was extensive and involved reconfiguring the master bathroom / closet floorplan and relocating the shower. Kyle and Nancy made the design and selection of materials so easy. Once the project started the project manager was on top of everything, visiting regularly and always available to answer our questions. All the workers that came to our house were polite, honest and left the place clean. The end result is absolutely stunning and is our dream master bathroom. I did a lot of research finding the perfect company for us, and Drake House Construction was perfect! Nancy does a great job taking your ideas and creating a design just for you. They communicated wonderfully, and we never wondered where we were in the process. They did a great job overseeing the subcontractors as they began their jobs. As with any construction project, there are bound to be some small problems, but they were so helpful and always ensured they would get it right, and they did! They cleaned up along the way and made sure the house was taken care of and not dirty (as much as possible). I absolutely love my new bathroom! It looks like it belongs in a magazine! Drake House Construction & Design assisted us in transforming our main floor. Nancy and Kyle worked with us to design an open-floor plan. Beforehand our kitchen was small and separated from our family room and dining room. With the design from Drake House Construction & Design, we now have a beautiful open main-floor that allows our family to spend more time together. Not only is our floor plan open, but we were able to get the kitchen of our dreams. Nancy’s style and design choices for the finishings of the space truly put our kitchen space over the top. We couldn’t be happier with the end result of our renovation.

We talked with Kyle and Nancy Drake two years ago and decided to delay the project at that time. We called back this year and restarted the project. We did go over every detail again to make sure everything looked correct and the quoting and initial design phase was easy and straight forward. The actual design phase where we picked all of the details including cabinets, countertops, colors, etc. was much easier than I expected. They had plenty of options to pick from and the plan was in place in short order. The work started on time and the Drake House team were good communicators. We did have several items we wanted changed or adjusted slightly and the team was quick to respond and work on those action items. The project took slightly longer than the 8 week estimate, but some of these items were due to scheduling issues with inspectors. Ultimately the renovations looks great and we are very happy with the work. It has been about one month since completion and we’ve had no issues. Nancy, Kyle and their team were fantastic to work with. Not only did they have great design ideas and cost-conscious fashion but they started on time and finished much earlier than we anticipated. Their team was respectful of our home and children, showed up on time, cleaned up every day, and overall ran a tight ship. For this main floor and kitchen renovation, we wanted a more conservative/traditional look and they helped us achieve this while offering some more on-trend choices that we are ultimately glad we selected. History Reimagined: A 1933 Tudor Estate in Intown Atlanta

We first met Kyle and Nancy of Drake House Construction in March 2018, very soon after closing on our new home, a 1933 Tudor, in the Ridgedale Park neighborhood in Buckhead. We found them through Houzz and were very impressed by their tasteful, yet budget-friendly renovations. When we met them in person, we knew we had found the right team to help turn our dream kitchen into a reality.

Having flipped our previous home in Denver, CO, we had a good idea of what we were looking for in our renovation. Having a personal passion for interior design and my husband, Andrew, being in commercial real estate, we were tough clients with high expectations on a tight timeline. We were looking to breathe new life into our historic home, but keep the old-world charm and timeless look of the rest of the house. We chose a blend of classic finishes, such as honed Carrara marble counters, white subway tile, brass fixtures, and stainless appliances, but with tasteful, modern touches, like hanging shelves and light greige cabinets. We were also working within a more segmented and challenging space. We would be taking a wall down in between our kitchen and dining room, as well as a breakfast bar, removing a radiator, and adding a new window to create more light and a more open, airy space.

Kyle and Nancy immediately understood our goals both from a look and feel perspective, as well as from a budget perspective. Nancy was very helpful locating specific design elements, like paint colors, light fixtures, and tiles, and Kyle was the construction lead behind adding the custom touches that really made our project shine. We threw Kyle and Nancy several curve balls and last minute change orders with requests for a custom island design and hanging brass shelves. Kyle and his team were incredibly resourceful and figured out a way to make them happen, creating a high-end look for a fraction of the price. We were also very impressed with Kyle’s team’s craftsmanship. They did an excellent job matching the walls of the new opening in between our kitchen and dining room to our existing, textured plaster walls, making it look like it was there all along. We greatly appreciated Kyle and Nancy’s ability to finish the project within a very aggressive timeframe within just six weeks, which greatly helped expedite our move in. Our kitchen is our new favorite room in our home and is everything we dreamed of for our growing family. Thank you, Kyle and Nancy!

“My husband and I purchased a home using an FHA 203k renovation loan and needed to find a contractor who was 203k certified to do the work. After interviewing several options, we decided to go with Kyle due to his experience as well as his quote. The home needed significant work: we basically gutted the first floor and doubled the size of the kitchen & master bath, as well as installing a new laundry room and half bath. New flooring and HVAC completed the job. Kyle was phenomenal to work with. I am an architect so I was probably his most tedious client since I presented engineered drawings for everything from cabinet layout to tile placement. He was incredibly patient and spent a lot of time with me on a daily basis to make sure he was executing everything to my standards. His crew was professional and competent. When an issue arose with one of his sub-contractors (the granite vendor mis-cut the slab), Kyle stepped in and made it right, no questions asked. Kyle and his guys did a great job on a tight budget (we were amazed at what he was able to do for the money!) and a short time-frame. I have since recommended him out to numerous clients and they have all reported the same: excellent work at an affordable price, coupled with a high level of professionalism and integrity that are unfortunately all-too-often missing from this industry.
